Trade-supplied kitchens fitted properly — carcasses level, gaps scribed, worktops finished so the room feels solid, not temporary.
If you have bought a kitchen from Howdens, IKEA, Wren or another trade supplier, you still need someone who can install it against real walls — out of square, out of level, and never quite matching the showroom drawing.
I have fitted Howdens kitchens at work end to end. That is the core of this service: unpacking and checking units, setting legs and rails true, scribing end panels, cutting worktops, fitting sinks and hobs where agreed, and hanging doors so the lines run clean.
What is usually included
- Base and wall unit installation
- Scribing to uneven walls and floors
- Worktop templating support / fitting (depending on material and supplier process)
- Door, drawer and handle alignment
- Basic trim and finishing against existing décor
What I need from you
Your kitchen plan, appliance sizes, and a clear note on who is doing plumbing, gas and electrics. I am a carpenter — I will not pretend to be your gas engineer. We sequence the trades so nobody is waiting on a half-built run of units.
Areas
Most kitchen installs I take on are around Botley, Hedge End, Whiteley, Eastleigh and Winchester. If you are further out, ask — distance is usually less of a problem than access and parking.
