How I got here
I am Isaac Moore. I completed my carpentry apprenticeship and now take on kitchen fitting, joinery and property maintenance for homeowners across south Hampshire.
I learned the trade properly — City & Guilds training, site discipline, and years watching how work should be finished, not just how it should look in a photo. A lot of that came from working alongside my dad and brothers in the family firm, Moore & Sons Landscaping. Landscaping, groundworks and new fencing still sit with them. Carpentry and the indoor (and repair) timber work sit with me.
What “time-served” means on your job
It means I have been through a proper apprenticeship, not a weekend course. It does not mean I will claim decades of experience I do not have. I would rather be straight about that and let the work speak.
At work I have fitted Howdens kitchens end to end — carcasses, scribing to uneven walls, worktops, and the fiddly bits that decide whether a kitchen feels solid or cheap. That is the standard I bring to trade-supplied kitchens from Howdens, IKEA, Wren and similar.

I trade as Isaac Moore Carpentry, not under the family landscaping name. That keeps the businesses clear: different work, different people, honest referrals between us when a job crosses over.
I hold public liability insurance for domestic work.
